Vision, Mission and Core Values

Vision: A church that manifests God’s kingdom through sharing the Word and life.

Mission: Making disciples of all generations and groups, sending them out into the world

We live missional lives in our daily walk, carrying the calling as children of God and disciples of Christ.

Nahnum Church is a missional community where each member is encouraged to share, build one another up, and live out a missional life together.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

(Ephesians 2:10)

For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.

(Genesis 18:19)

Core Values:

Integrity: Living with honesty and faithfulness.

Spontaneity: Serving with a sense of calling and voluntary commitment.

Household Oriented: Pursuing a healthy, family-centered church community as God’s family.

Openness: Striving to break free from fixed ideas, embracing diversity, and learning through failure.

Process Focused: Valuing shared progress toward the goal more than efficiency, focusing on the journey as well as the destination.

Equipping Members for the Front Line of Life: Empowering disciples to live faithfully in the realities of everyday life.

Nahnum History

Distinctives

Integrated Worship Nahnum Church practices intergenerational worship as a way of living out its mission: making disciples across generations and sending them into the world.

Dure Fellowship Groups Small church communities where members share how to apply biblical living in everyday life, pray together, and build relationships.

Bible Study (GBS) Groups meet during the week or before Sunday worship to read and prepare together on the Sunday sermon text. Each GBS group gathers for a set period of time, after which new groups are formed.

Nahnum Foundation A non-profit foundation that provides scholarships to college students in financial need and offers interest-free microloans to struggling families. Operated by church members, it is not profit-driven but exists to strengthen believers and bring life to those in need.

Education Ministries

YCIA (Young Christians In Action)

For those who have graduated from high school or are of similar age, YCIA provides a space to build close relationships, share the Word, and enjoy fellowship together. Meets every Friday from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.

Nahnum Youth Ministry – BASIC (Brother and Sister in Christ)

Our goal is to help youth develop a sound biblical understanding of who God is, and to live daily as disciples of Jesus with an identity shaped by His character and love—not for themselves alone, but together with neighbors in God’s kingdom. They gather for fellowship, engage in Community Service Projects to help those in need, and also host Praise Nights.

Nahnum Sunday School – NTK (Nahnum Twinkle Kids)

The youngest children, who will carry on the next generation, grow by sharing the Word and life together with their parents within the family and the church community.
